Using music to learn
Take time out to relax from your studies and listen to some of your favourite English songs. If you like to, you can even sing along! This is a great way to improve your pronounciation and sound more fluent, as you will be highly attuned to sound when you are singing to music. You will also pick up some more colloquial expressions and language to convey emotion, which is especially important for those people learning out of textbooks outside of a local English-speaking environment. As well, it is a great way to connect with people who share the same taste in music as you. And if your English level is beginner, what better way to learn without a lot of strain than from an international language like music which conveys much of what it is saying even before you fully understand the English?
